KIM CLARKE New York’s own Kim Clarke is an outstanding, multifaceted bassist, composer and educator, who counts her father, Henry Clarke, and grandfather, trombonist/bassist Henry “Hy” Clark, Sr., as “my personal jazz heroes.” She holds B.A’s in Communications and Music from City College and Long Island University, respectively, and is a 3-time recipient of the coveted NEA Jazz Study Fellowship. |
Ms. Clarke’s press exposure is expansive, and includes among numerous others, interviews on-line and in print, namely Bass Player Magazine, Guitar Player Magazine and several books on Women In Jazz. Her national and international tour experience is populated with dozens of familiar names.
